Nicer than expected. Nice accommodations. Attended a conference. Food was good, but the person running the food service one evening would not replenish the desserts even though they had several racks of them in an open meeting room not being used. Friendly service at the front desk and at the small bar near the lobby.

Really cool decorations in hallways and lobby's. We love U.S. history! We live in historic Johnstown NY and stopped here passing thru to OBX via Expedia discount. We wish we had time to stay and look around. Checked in at midnight. Spent way way to much money in hotel snack counter. We should have stopped at a gas station we were just tired. Am check out was pleasant! Pm check in was good enough. Bed were comfy. Rooms spacious. Shower hot. Fitness center open 24 hours. Would return here again especially if staying in the area for historical sight seeing

The rooms were good but the beds were not very comfortable. Neither were the pillows, but that could just be personal preference. The toilet seat was not secured properly and the shower head leaked, will be calling maintenance for both issues, otherwise the room was nice and comfortable.

The hotel and restaurant were very nice. Rooms were nicely sized but the shower was in serious need of an upgrade.
