First Fridays - Every 1st Friday of the Month 2020Take in special events and refreshments with approximately 45 businesses throughout Historic Gettysburg hosting special receptions, guest artists and authors, sales and later business hours. Living History Camps at the Gettysburg Heritage CenterThe Gettysburg Heritage Center hosts Civil War Living History Camps most weekends, April - November. Civil War reenactors set up camp on the front lawn of the Heritage Center, and offer visitors a glimpse into life during the war. The groups perform various drills and demonstrations, and are available to answer questions from visitors. The groups vary from weekend to weekend. Free and open to the public!
