Dedication Day - Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address   November 19th  10:15am

November 19, the anniversary of the Gettysburg Address and the Dedication of the Soldiers' National Cemetery.  At 10:15am, the day's events will begin with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Soldiers' National Monument, followed by the Dedication Day Program at the rostrum in the Soldiers' National Cemetery at 10:30am. Lincoln portrayer George Buss will recite the Gettysburg Address and the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Service will hold a naturalization ceremony for citizen candidates.

An Eisenhower Christmas: Visit the Historic Eisenhower farm to experience President Dwight "Ike" and Mamie Eisenhower's holiday decorations in their home near Gettysburg. 

Christmas at the Jennie Wade House  Celebrate the wonderful holiday season at the historic Jennie Wade House. Enjoy a step back in time as you visit this house decorated in the Civil War era traditions. 

Annual Holiday Tuba Carol Festival  December 13, 2019  Tuba players from around the country will join together to play Christmas carols on historic Lincoln Square in Gettysburg, Pa. The public performance will take place at 7:00 pm at Lincoln Square in downtown Gettysburg, in front of the Gettysburg Hotel.

Living History Camps at the Gettysburg Heritage Center

The Gettysburg Heritage Center hosts Civil War Living History Camps most weekends, April - November.  Civil War reenactors set up camp on the front lawn of the Heritage Center, and offer visitors a glimpse into life during the war.  The groups perform various drills and demonstrations, and are available to answer questions from visitors.  The groups vary from weekend to weekend. Free and open to the public!

First Fridays -  Every 1st Friday of the Month 2019
