Reviewed the complaints and won't/can't verify or dispute them, but all i can say is that MY experience a couple weeks ago was as close to perfection as i've ever had at a comparable hotel. My room was very clean. Bed was comfy as all get out. Observed zero pests. Shower worked fine. My room had the mini fridge (agreed this is a MUST, but personally can do w/o a microwave; anyway what are people doing on vacation etc. eating frozen/takeout food, seriously). If an in-room fridge is important to you, perhaps you should request/inquire. i had an outstanding breakfast the next morning in the restaurant. The food was prompt, hot, and delicious, and the service was fine. As far as housekeepers slamming doors in the morning: i've definitely experienced this at other hotels (and point is agreed, would never return to a hotel if this is experienced - excessively), but it didn't happen the next morning on my stay. Priced very well (via a 2nd party advance reservation; if you are a walk-in, you have no right to expect a discount). Very, very pleased with everything and will absolutely return. Look, some complaints from a couple-few months ago seem recurrent and valid, to varying degrees of accuracy and fairness. It appears as if Wyndham took note and at least has been working to address them, and when this is observed, it should be fairly noted to the business' credit. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely wonderful stay at the Wyndham Hotel in Gettysburg! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and conveniently located right near all the historic sites. The service was outstanding from the moment we arrived. Everything felt smooth and welcoming. A special shout-out to Haley at the front desk — she was incredibly friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Her warm smile and great attitude really made our visit extra special. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Highly recommend this hotel and will definitely be back! Rooms are dated however they are nice and clean. Great place for business meetings. Their staff are very helpful and friendly.

We were here to honor my late husband for the Fallen Firefighter Memorial Weekend. We drove from Florida. Room was ready on arrival. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. One elevator was not working, but being the widow of a firefighter I know this happens. O would definitely stay here again and would recommend to others

Was here for a conference. Great service, clean facilities, attentive staff.
