  • Are taxes included?
    Tax is additional. There is a 20% taxable service charge plus 6% state taxes.
  • Are there any additional fees?
    Station packages requiring a chef attendant fee with be charged at $100 / chef attendant. Bar tender fees are included in both wedding packages. Any additional hours above 4 hour package does incur hourly rental fee.
  • How many bartenders must I have?
    One bartender is provided per 100 guests. If additional bartenders are requested there will a $35 /hour / bartender fee.
  • Do you charge full price for children?
    $15.95 per child (12 years and under). Choice of stations package items or children’s meal.
  • Do you offer tastings?
    Scheduled tastings are by appointment and occur 3 months prior to wedding reception.
  • What will be able to taste?
    You will taste items selected in your wedding package. Cake tastings are made via appointment with selected cake vendor.
  • What centerpieces and linens are included in wedding packages?
    The Hotel will provide hurricane globes with white tapered candles on mirrored tiles and white floor length linens with white folded napkins.
  • Can I bring my own cake?
    Yes, bringing your own wedding cake is an option. However, doing so will not decrease the wedding package pricing.
  • Can I bring my own alcohol?
    The Wyndham Gettysburg must provide all alcohol. Alcohol packages are available.
  • Will my wedding planner be available during the entire event?
    Your Wedding Planner will guide you through the reception and dinner. The Banquet Manager and/or  Banquet Captain will be present and available during the entire event
  • May I have welcome bags delivered for my guests?
    The hotel requests that welcome bags are not delivered any earlier than 3 days prior to your event. Please arrange with your Wedding Planner.
  • Is parking complimentary?
    The hotel provides complimentary parking for all guests.
  • Does the hotel offer a shuttle service for guests?
    The hotel does not offer shuttle service. The town of Gettysburg has a shuttle which picks up from Courtyard Marriott (next door to the Wyndham). The hotel will provide a list of preferred transportation vendors. Guests are responsible for making transportation arrangements to/from the hotel. The hotel front desk will display wedding transportation signs upon request.
  • Is the contract holder responsible for unreserved guest rooms?
    Unreserved guest rooms are released 30 days prior to the event. Attrition applies for rooms block over 26+ rooms. We recommend reserving a maximum of 25 rooms.
  • What if I need to cancel my wedding or reception contract?
    Cancellation penalties are as follows:

    Date of Agreement to 1 year + 1 day

    • Deposit is non-refundable

    1 year to 6 Months + 1 day

    • 50% of the following: (85% of Agreed Room Nights x ADR) + Meeting Room
    • Rental + Food & Beverage Minimum

    6 Months to 91 Days

    • 75% of the following: (85% of Agreed Room Nights x ADR) + Meeting Room
    • Rental + Food & Beverage Minimum

    90 Days to Date of Arrival

    • 100% of the following: (85% of Agreed Room Nights x ADR) + Meeting
    • Room Rental + Food & Beverage Minimum
