We stayed here 2 years in a row. We love this hotel. The decorations and carpets and everything are so beautiful and fit the location of Gettysburg really well. The pool and hot tub are great...though the floor can get really really slippery when wet. I wish the beds and pillows were more comfortable...but it isn't bad enough to stop me from coming (I would just bring your own pillow). My family of 6 stayed in the King Suite and there was enough room for all of us with the addition of 2 roll away beds so my kids and us were not all stuck right next to each other. All 6 of us stood in the shower with room to spare....thats how much space the King Suite has! Some people prefer house keeping to come in everyday, but I actually prefer to be left alone...which they did. But if I had a request, they were at my room within 5 minutes each time with whatever I needed. One piece of advice if you plan to book here. DO NOT USE THE RESERVATION LINE. Call the front desk and reserve your room directly with them. 2 years in a row the reservation line (who I'm told isn't on site) reserved us in a room that doesn't exist at this hotel. So skip the reservation line completely! Every single person we dealt with at the front desk over the 2 years we have stayed here were absolutely fantastic. One even gave me a discount due to the frustration of the misinformation given to me by the reservation line. The location of this hotel is PERFECT. Close enough to downtown Gettysburg...but far enough that it's easy to get around. Right off the highway and there is a Walmart right down the road as well as many restaurants. We love this hotel and if we are blessed enough to be able to take another trip down to Gettysburg, we will be staying here for sure.

Our family enjoyed every bit of our Christmas stay at this hotel. My wife fell in love with the historical theme and can’t wait to return. I recommend to be a Diamond member in order to enjoy all the amenities.
