We had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect: not too far from the center of town in Gettysburg. The rooms (and beds) are comfortable. The gym is clean, spacious and well-stocked. The pool and hot tub are clean and warm.

I'm not sure where people come off saying this is a bad hotel. It's a 4 star in my opinion. Check in was very smooth and the staff was very nice. There is a sign at the front desk that clearly states: housekeeping does not come to rooms daily and to contact the desk if in need of additional supplies during your stay. Our room was a king (bed) room on the 5th floor. It DID have a fridge but no microwave. The TV was a small and a little outdated. The room was nice and clean and comfy. The bathroom shower was very unusual and the door didn't slide or close so yes, water did get on the floor but keeping a hand towel as a floor mat worked just fine. Hopefully you were awake by 8am because if not, the noise would wake you up. Housekeeping was vacuuming and doors were slamming, the vents in the room seemed to be noisy at times too, and my bedside table lamp didn't work. We went to the bar on Saturday night and the bartender was very nice. I asked her to make me whatever she wanted and she didn't disappoint!

Could use a good detail cleaning. Air vents are clogged with dust. I understand they do not clean your room during your stay, but never restocked coffee or cups during my stay. Actually never saw the cleaning staff the whole weekend. Dirty glasses piled out side of room in hall for 2 days. They food service staff were attentive during meal periods and helpful in access the rooms set up for our use during the conference.
