This hotel features a walk back in history, with it's large portraits of Presidents Lincoln and Eisenhower, as well as other generals. There is even a cannon in the lobby. Everything about it, including hallway carpeting smacks of history. It was an awesome experience.

The hotel was very clean decorated for the error the town represents hotel rooms were claim. No evident problems and very well taken care of

Great room and the restaurant is top notch!

Hubby and I chose this hotel for the historical interior decorations—one of the best Wyndham hotels. The room was big and fully equipped. We had a nice, clean room. Amy at the front desk helped us with check-in and questions. There's a gift shop by the lobby where you can get snacks and souvenirs, but it's minimal. The hotel has a swimming pool and jacuzzi. A gym is next to it. I liked the pool. It's a big pool, and I was the only one who was swimming and using the jacuzzi. We had breakfast in a nice breakfast room, a large room with full service. We will return to stay at the hotel. We heard they will do a renovation. That's cool, but we hope they don't change the interior looks, as it gives the feeling that we lived in the 1800s era on stage. Nice hotel!

The location is ideal, minutes from the Gettysburg National Military Park and the town of Gettysburg. A little disappointed with the service. The room coffee maker did not work. 3 conversations with the staff over 3 days and it was never corrected. Had to buy coffee at the market during the entire stay. Otherwise, the room was well appointed.
