This was a beautiful property. However, it took forever for the water to get hot enough to take a shower. Also housekeeping did not leave any towels after the first night and they left bottle of cleaning fluid in the room after the second night. Not sure if I would recommend this hotel. Will stay somewhere else the next time.

My husband, myself and my dog stayed here one night and was very pleased. The hotel was beautiful and had nice picture opportunities for me to take of my dog. There was plenty of grassy places to walk her, but we discovered that we could not get back in the door that we went out, which resulted in walking halfway around the hotel. I'm glad i had my husband with me, I would have been scared out there alone after dark. We stayed 2 nights in Gettysburg but opted to stay closer to downtown the 2nd night. I enjoyed the quiet at this hotel and slept great. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay. Location is close to everything-shopping,, restaurants, outlets, gas, Dunkin, Starbucks, McDonald’s. Very nice staff. Hotel give a real feel of colonial times. Slept like a rock while there. Beds comfortable and it was quiet.
