Reviewed the complaints and ...

Reviewed the complaints and won't/can't verify or dispute them, but all i can say is that MY experience a couple weeks ago was as close to perfection as i've ever had at a comparable hotel. My room was very clean. Bed was comfy as all get out. Observed zero pests. Shower worked fine. My room had the mini fridge (agreed this is a MUST, but personally can do w/o a microwave; anyway what are people doing on vacation etc. eating frozen/takeout food, seriously). If an in-room fridge is important to you, perhaps you should request/inquire. i had an outstanding breakfast the next morning in the restaurant. The food was prompt, hot, and delicious, and the service was fine. As far as housekeepers slamming doors in the morning: i've definitely experienced this at other hotels (and point is agreed, would never return to a hotel if this is experienced - excessively), but it didn't happen the next morning on my stay. Priced very well (via a 2nd party advance reservation; if you are a walk-in, you have no right to expect a discount). Very, very pleased with everything and will absolutely return. Look, some complaints from a couple-few months ago seem recurrent and valid, to varying degrees of accuracy and fairness. It appears as if Wyndham took note and at least has been working to address them, and when this is observed, it should be fairly noted to the business' credit. FIVE STARS for the ...

FIVE STARS for the Wyndham at Gettysburg! First and foremost, Erica, at reception, was responsive, receptive and resourceful! She is to be commended on her professionalism and conscientiousness throughout my stay. Moreover, the Wyndham at Gettysburg was extremely clean and well-kept. Specifically, the rooms are beautiful and artfully decorated. The staff, as a whole, takes great pride in customer service satisfaction! The breakfast and bar also displayed superb employee interaction with their guests. I highly recommend the Wyndham at Gettysburg for pet parents as well. I have visited this location multiple times, with and without a pet. I have been 100 percent satisfied with all services! Bravo for a great team and for superior leadership to promote excellent customer relations! Please note, that the piano player is the perfect component to end your evening. She offered diverse musical offerings with expertise and artistic flair!
