Could not use pool ...

Could not use pool or hot tub for 3 days. No bathtub, stand up shower. Was there for a reunion, too far from downtown Gettysburg.

When I walked into ...

When I walked into the lobby, I was immediately welcomed and helped by someone not working the reception desk as the primary person was otherwise engaged. That was huge. The lobby is very well done with a cannon as a fitting touch for a Gettysburg hotel. With all that I was looking forward to my first stay at Wyndham Gettysburg. Unfortunately, the room was a let down. There is no refrigerator and the TV is undersized. Also, there was what I suspect was a blue tortilla chip, stale, on the chair next to the bed. Leave it to say I was underwhelmed.

Not at the level ...

Not at the level that I expect a Wyndham to be. I understand staffing shortages and hotels that can't/don't provide daily housekeeping. But I have stayed in lesser brand hotels that offer more in a king size room. Such as a microwave; a refrigerator; large screen TV. The TV provided was a very small flat screen and the reception was terrible. No microwave or refrigerator. There were no extra blankets or pillows in the room and no note paper or pens. There wasn't even an anti skid bath mat for the tub.
