Loved the room. Very easy checking in and checking out. Food was excellent too.

The hotel is super cute with a great staff. Our only issue was that there was some dog hair and/or human hair on our sheets/ blankets. It just felt like the sheets and bedding were a bit oily. As if they weren’t washed or rinsed out fully. Otherwise the room was very very clean. We had a quick trip but a long drive and felt it was a really good choice. Easy to book, easy to check in, easy to check out, parking was simple… other than the hairs on the bed it was wonderful.

Our organization held a weekend meeting at the Wyndham. I was involved in the planning for much of the weekend relative to rooms and served food. I mostly worked with Terry. The weekend proved to be uneventful as everything was in place as planned. I was made aware of many helpful options while in the planning phase. The staff was welcoming when we arrived. Oh, and this is Gettysburg! (The place where many of us, or our children, went to on school sponsored field trips.) The decor and rooms were a quick reminder of the history and sacred ground not far away. It's a beautiful hotel with the entrance and driveway announcing that you have arrived. I want to make it clear that while the building has ties to history, it's really clean and has a modern feel. Building staff were doing some paint touchup when we were there. Cleaning products can't make things glisten like new paint can. And that's the point. The Wyndham glistens.

Hotel lobby and rooms are very spacious. A restaurant and bar lounge are conveniently located inside. The decor is tastefully done in early American style.
