151st Annual Gettysburg Civil War Battle Reenactment~July 4-6, 2014. Check out one of Gettysburg's visitor favorite feature events of the year! After the pace, scope and enormity of the 150th Gettysburg Anniversary last year, festivities will be moving back to the beautiful Gettysburg Movie Site for the twentieth anniversary of the movie Gettysburg. Reenactors, visitors and staff all love this site that sits beside Gettysburg National Military Park, with its pastoral terrain and magnificent views that overlook the historic Sachs Mill Covered Bridge, the Eisenhower National Historic Site and The Roundtops. This will be an event that allows both reenactors and staff to take more time to enjoy the smaller interesting scenarios, the beautiful surroundings, campfire chats and comradery. 1st Annual Gettysburg Brew Fest~August 23, 2014. Gettysburg Brew Fest will enjoy its inaugural session Saturday, August 23rd— hosted by the Lutheran Theological Seminary at Gettysburg from 4:30 pm - 8 pm. With spectacular views of the Gettysburg Battlefield and South Mountains, set against the backdrop of the new Seminary Ridge Museum — arguably one of most historic and recognizable structures in Gettysburg—the event will deliver a distinctive sampling experience.
